CHRIS EVANS & BRADLEY COOPER IN SF FILM "LUNA"! OLIVIA MUNN IS "THE BABY MAKER"! PAUL WALKER TAKING THE LEAD ROLE IN "TERMINATOR 5"? NAOMIE HARRIS IS THE NEW BOND GIRL?

Now, it seems we really can't have a day without Bradley Cooper being mentioned in the news, can we? According to "Variety" he could star in Doug Liman's sf film LUNA in which the story revolves around a group of renegade scientists who build a space craft in order to try and steal a mysterious energy source from the moon. It's interesting that beside Cooper, another names included in the run for the lead role include Captain America Chris Evans, and two less interesting actors - Andrew Spiderman Garfield and Emile Hirsch. Chris Pine was also mentioned previously, but he is mentioned in pretty much anything. HOLLYWOOD SPY has already wrote about the possible female leads.

SHORT HEADLINES Naomie Harris (28 DAYS LATER) has confirmed that she has been offered a Bond girl role in JAMES BOND 23 to be directed this winter by Sam Mendes. Warner Bros. is preparing an untitled sf epic on the war in outer space with Sam Worthington in the lead role. Gorgeous Olivia Munn will star in THE BABY MAKER beside Paul Schneider, a film about a married couple who can't conceive so they decide to rob a sperm bank where he made a deposit as a young man. Jan Kounen (COCO CHANEL AND IGOR STRAVINSKY) is working on an animated sf film WINDWALKERS about a futuristic world where unyielding winds threaten humanity, so a special team is put together to venture to the Upper Reaches from where the winds originate.

Some rumors indicate that TERMINATOR 5 could be shot without the troublesome Governator as the main hero, with some younger actor playing the lead role of Kyle Reese. And rumors say that Paul Walker could be that young actor to be hired by director Justin Lin (who worked with Walker on FAST FIVE). But, according to "DreadCentral" Arnold Schwarzenegger will still have a fairly substantial role in the new story since the original timeline will get torn for some unknown reason .... This might also mean that the idea of the original cast from the first film gathering again might not be realized as some rumors stated this spring.

DWAYNE JOHNSON JOINS "G.I. JOE II"? IDRIS ELBA GETS THE LEAD IN DEL TORO'S "PACIFIC RIM" SF EPIC! WORLD WAR I EPIC MINI SERIES "PARADE'S END" AT BBC!

Well, the top news of the day is that our favourite action star Dwayne Johnson is currently negotiating to join G.I. JOE II,

the sequel to the popular blockbuster about a team of super powerful soldiers and agents. If Dwayne joins the film he will play Roadblock, a heavy machine gunner and a cook. As you remember from HOLLYWOOD SPY's previous reports, Channing Tatum will return as Duke, Ray Park as Snake Eyes and Byung Hun Lee as Storm Shadow. Rachel Nichols and Sienna Miller who had memorable roles in the first part, are not returning to the sequel which should come out August 2012.

According to "MovieWeb" hunky Idris Elba (who had a successful role in this summer's THOR, and will appear in Ridley Scott's sf

epic PROMETHEUS with Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender)  might take the lead role in Guillermo Del Toro's PACIFIC RIM in which Earth is bombarded by giant space monsters and in order to save mankind from extinction a group of soldiers must battle this invading threat using huge telepathically controlled  robots.  As HOLLYWOOD SPY has already informed you young Charlie Hunnam is already a part of the cast.

According to "Daily Mail" increasingly popular British star Benedict Cumberbatch (mostly known from BBC's SHERLOCK and for getting the lead role in Spielberg's WAR HORSE) will

star in BBC's and HBO's mini series PARADE'S END. Set in World War I, the story will follow a top civil servant from a background of wealth and privilege, whose marriage founders almost as soon as it begins. His wife Sylvia (Rebecca Hall) has affairs, while he falls in love with another woman, but he remains honourable for some considerable time to Sylvia. He goes to war and even loses memory at the battlefield. The mini series will follow ten years of his life.

NEW POSTER FOR "BAD TEACHER" WITH CAMERON DIAZ & JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. MATTHEW MACFADYEN JOINS JUDE LAW, AARON JOHNSON & SAOIRSE RONAN IN "ANNA KARENINA"! SF FLICK "ECSTASIA"!

Although we might not watch the film, since director Joe Wright (ATONEMENT) has put that horrid Keira Knightley in the lead role, we must admit his film adaptation of famous ANNA KARENINA is having the rest of the cast filled with great names we love. You already know that the lead male roles were given to Jude Law (as Mr. Karenin) and Aaron Johnson (As Vronsky), but now, they will also have the company of amazing Matthew MacFadyen who will play count Oblonski, Anna's brother. Young Saoirse Ronan will play Kitty, the sister of Oblonski's wife. I so wanna watch this, but how will I? with Knightley in the lead role? :(((

According to "MovieWeb" Relativity Media is planning a sf film called ECSTASIA, in which the intriguing story is set in an alternate universe where love doesn't exist, although people can pay for a costly procedure known as "commitment". ECSTASIA is described as "an emotional Viagra", and without it, couples will feel no romantic connection. The story will center on a couple who can no longer afford the "commitment" procedure, so they have to take extreme measures to prolong their relationship.

Check out the new poster for hilarious comedy BAD TEACHER which premieres June 24th. In the film, Cameron Diaz plays

Elizabeth, a foul-mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate teacher. She drinks, she gets high, and she can't wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her bogus day job. When she's dumped by her fiancé, she sets her plan in motion to win over a rich, handsome substitute (Justin Timberlake) - competing for his affections with an overly energetic colleague, Amy. When Elizabeth also finds herself fighting off the advances of a sarcastic, irreverent gym teacher (Jason Segel), the consequences of her wild and outrageous schemes give her students, her coworkers, and even herself an education like no other.

THE PREMIERE OF THE MAGNIFICENT "GREEN LANTERN" WITH RYAN REYNOLDS, BLAKE LIVELY, PETER SARSGAARD & MARK STRONG IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Are you excited? Just two weeks are separating us from the world premiere of this year's greenest blockbuster GREEN LANTERN

which hits cinemas on June 17th! Directed by Martin Campbell (THE LEGEND OF ZORRO, CASINO ROYALE) the lavish film with the most advanced CGI, features dashing Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern, stunning Blake Lively as his love interest Carol Ferris, Mark Strong as Sinestro, Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond, Tim Robbins, Angela Basset ... and the voices of Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan.

GREEN TIDBITS

It is estimated that the budget for the shooting of GREEN LANTERN was around $150 million! For Geoffrey Rush, who is lending his voice to a birdlike alien Tomar Re, this is actually a third time of giving voice to birds (he did it in FINDING NEMO as a Pelican, and in LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS as a Ga'Hoole owl)! Blake Lively's Carol Ferris could turn into the Star Sapphire super villain and a queen of female warriors in a possible sequel. Ryan Reynolds doesn't wear a real costume but a CG one made thanks to a motion capture suit. Ryan's rivals who had competed for the lead role include: Sam Worthington, Justin Timberlake, Bradley Cooper and Chris Pine.

The story is set in a universe as vast as it is mysterious, where a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of

peace and justice, they are called the GREEN LANTERN Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each GREEN LANTERN wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds). Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the GREEN LANTERNs have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the

ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol

Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest GREEN LANTERN of all.

EMOTIONAL TRAILER FOR "THE VOW" WITH CHANNING TATUM & RACHEL MCADAMS! OLIVIA WILDE JOINS "THE WORDS"! NEW "TARZAN" TRILOGY! "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2" STARTS PRODUCTION!

Now, here's an upcoming film project which is getting a really cool cast. Gorgeous Olivia Wilde, perdy Ben Barnes and hilarious John Hannah, have just joined THE WORDS, the film about a writer who finds out what price he must pay after stealing another author's work. As you remember from HOLLYWOOD SPY's previous reports, the movie already has Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Irons in the two lead roles, with Dennis Quaid and Zoe Saldana in the cast as well. The film will be directed by the screenwriters of TRON LEGACY who will make their debut behind the helm.

Not only that Warner Bros. is preparing a new TARZAN project, but they are planning on making three films out of it. The story of

the men who lives in a jungle where he was raised by apes, will be directed by Craig Brewer (who did the remake of FOOTLOOSE this year).  Paramount will make an animated film out of NEW KID comic. The charming story revolves around a young boy who is the only human student in a new school full of aliens. According to "Heat Vision" the work on HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 has officially started. The sequel will be the second part of the trilogy and it will bring back many of the adorable characters from the original film.

This Saturday, you can watch the first trailer for next year's romantic drama THE VOW with a stunning cast which includes

Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams, Scott Speedman, Sam Neill, Jesicca Lange ... The story follows a freshly married couple (Tatum and McAdams) whose car gets hit by a truck after which the woman loses all recent memory which includes her new husband as well, who now has to win her heart for the second time. But the problem is that her former fiancee (Speedman)  appears from nowhere using her memory loss to seduce her again. Judging from the lovely trailer the film will feature a very emotional and touching performance from Channing Tatum and lots of wimpy scenes and bad hair days from McAdams.

PATRICK WILSON, WENTWORTH MILLER & JAMES MARSDEN IN "LOFT"! AMY ADAMS & JOAQUIN PHOENIX IN "THE MASTER"! BRADLEY COOPER & RYAN GOSLING IN "THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES"!

One of HOLLYWOOD SPY's most precious movie beings, adorable Amy Adams, has just joined an untitled Paul Thomas

Anderson film which already has Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix in the cast. In this film, loosely based on the world's most famous religious sect Scientology, Amy Adams will play the wife of Seymour Hoffman's character, a man known only as THE MASTER. After World War II, The Master creates his own belief structure, which rapidly grows in popularity all across the country. Could this be a chance for Amy to finally get a well deserved Oscar? I'm only a bit skeptic towards the director since his films tend to be monotonous and pompous (THERE WILL BE BLOOD, MAGNOLIA).

SHORT HEADLINES Graphic novel ALIEN AT LARGE will be turned into a movie about Earth's first interstellar

ambassador, who is not the brightest star in the galaxy. Although he means well, he has the uncanny ability to turn a harmless situation into utter catastrophe. Yet his bumbling might just save our planet, as his arrival unwittingly disrupts a nefarious alien conspiracy.  According to "Variety" Bradley Cooper will join Ryan Gosling in THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES, about a pro motorcycle rider (Gosling) who turns to bank robberies to support his newborn son when he crosses paths with a cop (Cooper).

The cast of the upcoming Hollywood remake of a Belgian film LOFT is slowly becoming my dream cast since it now has three of my most favourite Hollywood faces: Patrick Wilson, Wentworth Miller and James Marsden! According to "MovieWeb" they are also joined by two gorgeous girls Rachael Taylor (the new blond Charlie's Angel) and Isabel Lucas (Athena from Tarsem's IMMORTALS)  in the story about five married friends who share a loft together where they bring their mistresses. But the unexpected problems and twists arise when a woman is found dead in the loft and they all begin to question each other.

MORENA BACCARIN JOINS DAMIAN LEWIS & CLAIRE DANES IN "HOMELAND"! MARION COTILLARD, JOAQUIN PHOENIX & JEREMY RENNER IN "LOW LIFE"! CHRISTMAS MAGIC IN "LET IT SNOW"

Strange stories require strange actors. Marion Cotillard has joined LOW LIFE in which she will play a woman attempting to
immigrate from Poland. Her American dream turns into a

nightmare. While sailing to Ellis Island and a new start, her sister grows deathly ill and she is forced to trade sexual favors for medicine and food to keep her sister alive. Once they land, she is warned to keep quiet about what happened. Though she does, she walks away with immigration papers that deem her a woman with bad morals. With no place to go, she falls prey to a charming sleazebag (Joaquin Phoenix), who persuades her to turn tricks in New York. Jeremy Renner will probably play the sleazebag's cousin, a magician who sweeps the young woman off her feet and is her best chance to escape the nightmarish life she has fallen into.

Paramount will adapt LET IT SNOW, a book of short stories, into a romantic festive film in which charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and breathtaking kisses are set in a little

town stranded in a Christmas snowstorm. With sparkling white snowdrifts, beautiful presents wrapped in ribbons, and multicolored lights glittering in the night through the falling snow a  small town gets transformed into a romantic haven. In one of the stories we shall see cold and wet hike from a stranded train through the middle of nowhere which ends with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger, in another a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow which leads to love with an old friend, and in one of the stories the way back to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks.

Now, although I'm not into this genre, Showtime's upcoming new show HOMELAND really has a great cast. The story will center on an American soldier (amazing Damian Lewis) taken prisoner during American aggression on Iraq in 2003. Left for dead, he miraculously returns to the U.S. after years in captivity. Carrie Anderson (Claire Danes), a driven CIA officer battling her own psychological demons, becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to his re-capture was a setup and that this national hero may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. The interesting thing is that lovely Morena Baccarin (V, FIREFLY) has just joined the cast as Damian Lewis' wife.
